Chalice Weichman is currently a Deputy County Administrative Clerk.
Previously a Realtor, she practiced property management in Thermopolis, WY where she saw the insides of numerous rental properties around Hot Springs County and routinely photographed homes and rentals for advertising purposes (pictured in a 1950s single bath, currently off-market).
She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in December of 2016. She spent her first two years of public education at Sheridan College and attained an AFA in Art and a certificate in music technology. She lacks musical ability, but can definitely hook up a microphone.
She does not have a preferred media and works with whatever materials and spaces are available. She has no preferred profession and does her best within whatever open position comes her way. IN FACT, Chalice is for hire right now. Match her current wage in a place that is not Jackson Hole, and she will represent you well. She enjoys learning various techniques and trades in order to become a more completed craftsperson and improve her function in the world, however she does not call herself an artist.
Chalice's greatest regret is not buying a pleasant mobile home for $10K when she had the chance in 2019.
She beholds most contemporary "artists" with disgust and believes the institution called "The Arts" needs to remember the value of good craft. She wants to see a resurgence of educational art and quality objects. She believes that beauty is not subjective and recognizes that it should always be considered one of the high artistic goals.
